Bryce Wolkowitz has made a major commitment to representing artists who are exploring the intersection of art and technology. His gallery which he founded in 2002 in Chelsea, NY, has showcased as its primary focus, emerging, mid-career and historical artists in the field of Video and New Media. The gallery's dedication to supporting an array of innovative practices has been the catalyst for the expansion of its program to include painting and sculpture. His passion is rooted in the institutional experience he acquired while working with John Hanhardt, then Senior Curator of Film and Video Art at the Guggenheim Museum, NY. He eventually came to recognize New Media as the art form of which he could build upon his prior experience as an expert in Photography, having worked in the photographs department at Christie's for five years. This became the center piece of his programming, which was sorely over-looked at the time of the gallery's inception.

His breakthrough inaugural exhibition "Art Apparatus" in 2002, featured Jim Campbell, Alan Rath, John Simon Jr. and Steina Vasulka. The exhibition served as an initial cornerstone for the gallery's focus. Through his curatorial efforts, works of Video Art and New Media are more widely collected by a broader audience today.

The roster of artists who have since exhibited with Bryce are seminal names in the field. Video Art pioneers Steina Vasulka, Peter Campus, Juan Downey and Buky Schwartz; New Media artists Jim Campbell, Alan Rath, Ben Rubin and Peter Sarkisian, who combine elements of the cinematic, creative code writing, lighting technology and robotics to create a broad range of evocative moving images. New artists who have been highlighted over the years are Yorgo Alexopoulos, Mariano Sardon and Irene Mamiye – each with a long and lauded practice utilizing network technologies, both on-line and off. Additional artists across mediums include, Paula Scher, Jose Parla, Edward Burtynsky, Stephen Wilkes, Niko Luoma and Sohei Nishino among others.

Bryce has organized 80 exhibitions in his gallery and has participated in upwards of 120 International Art Fairs over this time. He has overseen numerous exhibitions of his artist's works, in the US, Canada, Europe and Asia, and has placed significant works across all media within institutions, foundations, corporate collections and private collections. Among them are The Metropolitan Museum of Art, The Museum of Modern Art, The Whitney Museum, Smithsonian American Art Museum, High Museum of Art, Albright Knox Art Gallery, Thoma Foundation & The Borusan Foundation, Turkey.

His repertoire of artists have participated in major site-specific and public installations including Jim Campbell's LED work atop the exterior of the Salesforce Tower, S.F., Jose Parla's 90-foot mural for the lobby of One World Trade Center, N.Y., as well as his collaboration with JR for the exterior of Bryce's gallery, coinciding with their exhibition "The Wrinkles of the City" in 2016; Edward Burtynsky's collaboration with Daniel Libeskind for the National Holocaust Museum, Ontario, Canada, and Ben Rubin's multi-media installation for the lobby of Renzo Piano's New York Times Building, N.Y. Additionally, as recent as Jan 2019, Bryce oversaw a major installation by Oliver Jeffers "The Moon, The Earth and Us" on the Manhattan Highline, which ran concurrent with his gallery exhibition of the artist.

Bryce's artists have contributed to notable Biennials world-wide including The Venice Biennale (Jose Parla, Brigitte Kowanz), The Whitney Biennial (Jim Campbell, Alan Rath, John Simon Jr) and the Biennale fur aktuelle Fotografie, Germany (Cortis & Sonderegger), among others. Bryce has published and contributed to numerous monographs of his artists throughout the years working with esteemed publishers such as Taschen, Assouline and Hatje Cantz. These contributions include in many, original texts authored by Bryce.

His program has been sought after for its broad appeal and diversity of artist's who can deliver large scale installations for the retail sector. These include collaborations with Peter Marino for luxury brands such as Louis Vuitton and Chanel, in NY, Chicago and Hong Kong. A major LED installation by Jim Campbell, commissioned by A+I Architects, for the offices of Och Ziff Capital Management, NY, and a large-scale video installation by Yorgo Alexopoulos, commissioned by Gabellini Shepard Architects, for the Row Hotel, NY.

Bryce is a strong proponent of cutting-edge technologies and is familiar with the cross platforms of VR/AR, having placed works in prominent collections. He is currently consulting for Metaversal, a Web3 Venture Firm. Bryce is advising and supporting the Company in their efforts to sell and promote existing NFT projects as well as collaborate on new initiatives both on-chain and IRL. As a lifelong collector, Bryce has been able to guide others through the personal journey of finding and adding life-changing art to their collections.
